Otterbein Sunset House is located in Lucas County in northwest Ohio just a few miles from downtown Toledo, Ohio. Our Ottawa Hills location means we’re close to your favorite amenities but away from the hustle and bustle. The High Season Package includes 7 nights and 6 days of diving, while the Low Season Package includes 9 nights and 8 days of diving. Centrally located, Sunset House is just a 5-minute walk from George Town and a 10-minute drive to and from the Owen Roberts International Airport. Taxi transfers to and from the airport are included in dive packages.

The property fits 5 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms in its extra generous 20,058 square feet of living space, as well as countless entertainment features and a stunning negative edge/infinity pool. The 20,000-square-foot home quietly hit the market in early September 2022 — and it’s likely to grace our TV screens once again, as the same Oppenheim Group has been hired to find a buyer. However, don’t expect to see a new buyer close on the million-dollar home, as the property was taken off the market a few months after, in February 2023. Resort Description
The best part of the resort was the staff of the dive shop. The rooms were basic and simple but perfect forus because we were there to dive. We dived 3 times a day--two boatdives then we did a night dive, afternoon Kittiwake, and shore divesthe other days. We also rented an underwater camera from Cathy Church.Food was good and we really loved sitting at the restaurant or My-Barwatching the sun go down every evening.

We visited Sting Ray City and the shipwreck Kittiwake. Also noteworthy is My Bar, located overlooking the sunset that the resort is aptly named for. My Bar specializes is Indian cuisine, but the menu is varied and the drinks were always refreshing.

On campus, there are several groups and activities residents enjoy together, such as an outdoor walking group, art classes, trivia, worship service, and various off-campus outings. In addition, our beautiful campus is conveniently located in Ottawa Hills near many of your favorite local attractions, including dining, shopping, medical services, and physicians. Serving Fulton, Wood, and Lucas counties in Ohio, Ashanti Hospice provides hospice for residents in the greater Toledo area.

If the reservation is cancelled within 14 days prior to arrival, there will be 100% penalty. Should you change the dates of your reservation within 30 days of your arrival our cancellation policy, as stated, will apply. Unused portions of packages are non-refundable and non-transferable. If Amex is used for payment and the reservation is cancelled a 4% fee will be deducted from the refund. All dive packages include daily two-tank boat trips to a grand variety of sites, including those voted on by the divers aboard. Divers also have 24/7 access to shore entry, and are welcome to partake in night dives.
