Otterbein Sunset House is located in Lucas County in northwest Ohio just a few miles from downtown Toledo, Ohio. Our Ottawa Hills location means we’re close to your favorite amenities but away from the hustle and bustle. The High Season Package includes 7 nights and 6 days of diving, while the Low Season Package includes 9 nights and 8 days of diving. Centrally located, Sunset House is just a 5-minute walk from George Town and a 10-minute drive to and from the Owen Roberts International Airport. Taxi transfers to and from the airport are included in dive packages.

The property fits 5 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms in its extra generous 20,058 square feet of living space, as well as countless entertainment features and a stunning negative edge/infinity pool. The 20,000-square-foot home quietly hit the market in early September 2022 — and it’s likely to grace our TV screens once again, as the same Oppenheim Group has been hired to find a buyer. The best part of the resort was the staff of the dive shop. The rooms were basic and simple but perfect forus because we were there to dive. We dived 3 times a day--two boatdives then we did a night dive, afternoon Kittiwake, and shore divesthe other days. We also rented an underwater camera from Cathy Church.Food was good and we really loved sitting at the restaurant or My-Barwatching the sun go down every evening.

The Manufacturing Aircraft (Mark IV) was designed to fit aroundthe Production Aircraft, resulting in a Manufacturing Aircraft comprised of two sub-assemblies with hollowwings and tails. The Competition

A tail dragger landing gear configuration was chosen to minimize drag while simplifying banner loading. Due to the takeoff distance constraints of Missions 1 and 3 and the emphasis on large amount of payload the wing was designed to be high lift while not sacrificing too much performance during cruise. To minimize the wingspan, a dual counter-rotating motor, biplane configuration with a cruciform empennage was chosen. As the aircraft has an unusually short span, the wings are incapable of producing significant roll stability. The aircraft uses two counter-rotating motors resulting in no net torque on the aircraft from the propulsion system.

The aircraft must complete three laps as fast as it can within a 5 minute flight window for this mission. However, the aircraft must carry the payload, which are syringes and a minimum of ten syringes is required. Designed to carry a payload that is 30% of its body weight and fly with a several foot PVC pipe attached to one wingtip, while being able to be assembled in five-minutes from a suitcase. Maximizing strength while minimizing weight were the main driving factors of the design, and the composite molded wings and fuselage reflect this design decision. The airplane must be able to conduct a delivery flight, a medical transport flight, and an urban taxi flight. Teams also conducted a ground mission demonstrating how quickly they can change their aircraft configuration from delivery to medical transport to urban air taxi. This year's flight objective was to design, build, and test a remotely operated radio control airplane for Urban Air Mobility. A traditional twin-tractor monoplane aircraft configuration with a conventional tail and custom dual-purposelanding gear was selected. A two-skid landing gear configuration withminimally protruding wheels was developed to address the requirement that the landing gear be identicalfor flight missions and the rough field Taxi Mission. By the spring of 1865, Lee knew that when the weather allowed, his army must escape the Union stranglehold or face starvation. Some brief skirmishing occurred about two miles west of Appomattox Court House near the Widow Robertson’s where some of Munford’s Confederate cavalry regained the stage road and engaged Federal troopers under Brigadier General Henry Davies, now supported by McKenzie and Young. After some brief clashes the Confederate cavalry which found itself outside the tightening noose, headed for Lynchburg.

Estimated casualties at the Battle of Appomattox Court House totaled about 700, but that number does not take into account the 27,805 soldiers that Lee surrendered to Grant. The Battle of Appomattox Court House was the last battlefield engagement of the Army of Northern Virginia and it was also the last battle of the American Civil War fought in Virginia. Grant’s spring offensive, the Appomattox Campaign, began in late March 1865 when Sherman’s troops south of Petersburg moved west with orders to threaten or capture Boydton Plank Road and the South Side Railroad, which connected to Petersburg from the southwest. Grant intended to cut off supplies coming into Petersburg and to prevent Lee from using the two arteries as avenues of escape from the city. That night a Federal cavalry brigade under Brevet Brigadier General Charles Smith from General George Crook’s division occupied the ridge ¾ of a mile west of Appomattox Court House—building breast works of dirt and fence rails along the Oakville Road.

They  were met in turn by Rooney Lee’s Cavalry and likewise driven back, along with Smith. The Confederate infantry wheeled and opened the stage road and faced south while William Cox’s North Carolina brigade advanced along the stage road to the west.
